Welcome to Key City Harley-Davidson. Our dealership is located in Dubuque, Iowa, offering the Harley-Davidson motorcycles you want, plus the services and parts you need to keep them running in top shape.
When John and Brody took the opportunity to expand with a new Harley-Davidson® dealership in Dubuque, they knew the name had to reflect more than just a location—it had to carry the pride and history of the community. Dubuque has long been known as “The Key City,” a nickname rooted in its role as the gateway to the upper Midwest, opening doors to commerce, culture, and connection along the Mississippi River.
With that legacy in mind, Key City Harley-Davidson® was born—a name that honors Dubuque’s past while celebrating the freedom, adventure, and spirit of the open road. Just as Dubuque has been a key to opportunity for generations, we’re proud to be a key destination for riders today.
“Our goal is to leverage our years of experience and passion for riding. We are committed to every step of the journey and look forward to maintaining and building upon the legacy these brands have in these communities,” John and Brody shared. “We are grateful for this incredible opportunity and are excited to see where it takes us.”
Both John and Brody have deep family ties to the region, with relatives from the Dubuque area and generations of connections across Northeast Iowa. Returning to Dubuque to establish Key City Harley-Davidson® was more than a business decision—it was a homecoming. Their roots run deep here, and building on that legacy is a way to honor the communities that shaped them and their families.
With dealerships in Waukon, Onalaska and now Dubuque—close to where they grew up—John and Brody remain dedicated to preserving and strengthening the long-standing tradition that Harley-Davidson® represents.
“Our goal is to bring together our years of experience and love for the sport,” they shared. “We’re committed to every step of the journey, and we look forward to not only honoring the history of these dealerships but also creating new opportunities for riders in the years ahead. We’re grateful for this incredible opportunity and excited to see where the road takes us.”
